Delete your account and data
You can delete your FuelScout UK account in the app. You may also ask us to delete specific data without closing your account.
Delete your account in the app
- Open FuelScout UK and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile.
- Open Privacy & Data.
- Select Delete Account and confirm the request.
Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete an account.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@fuelscoutuk.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “FuelScout account deletion request”. We may ask for enough information to verify that the account is yours.
What is deleted
We delete your FuelScout account, saved routes, route and price-alert preferences, notification tokens, account-linked usage records and FuelScout Premium entitlement records. Local FuelScout data is cleared from the device as part of account deletion.
Fuel-price data, public charging data and anonymous aggregated usage counts cannot identify you and are not account data. Google Play may retain purchase and payment records under its own terms. Firebase authentication data is removed from live and backup systems within up to 180 days; logged authentication IP addresses are generally retained for a few weeks. We may retain limited information only where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Delete specific data without deleting your account
You can remove saved routes, saved stations and alerts in the app. To request removal of other account data while keeping your account, email support@fuelscoutuk.app with the subject “FuelScout data deletion request”.
